A course of contemporary art in the city and merchants Malakoff

A wasteland, a bakery, a hairdresser, an optician, beauty salon, an imager, this endless inventory draws a map of the local exhibition practices that unfolds in the heart of downtown Malakoff around the Maison des Arts. Seven artists investing public spaces and shops by offering a series of interventions in close dialogue with their context. Between collaboration and wink, each proposal opens a field of resonance between artistic practices and skills in everyday life. This course offers an unusual experience renewed art where we least expect.
Practices Proximity is the seventh chapter of the series of exhibitions Philia, held throughout the 2010-2011 season by the association with 234,523 support from the Maison des Arts de Malakoff.
