After two years of a seminar devoted to the Commissioner of exhibition (published January 2011), it's time for gallery owners to be questioned about the practice of their profession. "Word of gallery" is the opportunity through a decade of experience of different generations of art dealers to better understand this medium.

A rule Game: bring along an artist, critic, an art historian, a collector, curator, another gallery owner, a writer or an amateur. And a choice for the first year, inviting only women gallery, very present in the art world and particularly the past fifty years. Through these sessions, so it will try to define work today to an art dealer and its specificities. The art world in recent years, is upset by the changes: globalization, affirmation political and economic conditions of certain countries, multiplication of national and international events, new scenes emerging appearance of new collectors ... All this requires new behaviors of the art market and new networks between galleries.

With this new weave, the French scene is of exceptional vitality, creating dynamic and new stories in which artists are the heart. A new generation of gallery owners is becoming more and more. Sites open in districts hitherto unfamiliar with contemporary art.
