The materialization of memory, history and moving from one medium to another is really not a refund of the original idea of an artistic desire but rather the result of growth, an extension of the idea involved in new directions. The works do not render and does not represent only the intent but evidence of a symbolic and material expansion, the opening does not contradict the unit.
In carrying plastic and during the testing of reality, the original idea grew, enriched and nourished by these offsets. The disjunction is the place where born and where new fictions of subjectivity comes into play.
Claudia Comte (Lausanne) uses as a material and iconographic past more personal and intimate in calling particular memories of childhood that the pictorial translation combines both narrative and a load of generic forms.
Galicia within Athene (Lausanne and Zurich) offers a reflection on these issues of translation in investing history of art as a toolbox for modeling inexhaustible new possible worlds and composing contemporary accounts.
Laurent Kropf (Geneva, Lausanne, Renens) and is concerned with negotiations, links, co-existence between different artistic fields, between bits of stories and history, by invention of new assemblies.
